Chief Architect Integration
Course Summary: In this course you will to learn how to render your kitchen or bath designs that you have built in Chief Architect. I'll be showing you 1 project as it is modeled in Chief Architect, all the way through to the final render. I'll show you how to best set up your files for export, then how to convert it Sketchup, and prepared the Sketchup model for the platform. Finally we'll set up the room in the platform, upload the model, adjust the materials and lighting and render.
Prerequisite: This course assumes that you already know the basics of the program you want to integrate. The lesson start with a kitchen already designed and built, then I take you through the integration process.
You will need Sketchup Shop or Sketchup Pro for program integrations. Sketchup Free does not allow imports of other file types.
Capstone Evaluation: Please submit your finished room by sending your project link and final render.

Annilee is a Certified Chief Architect Professional, a Certified Professional Building Designer and Registered Interior Designer.
Annilee Waterman has 30 years of art & design experience, with the past 16 years working virtually.
Building on her Fine Arts and Interior Design degrees, years of experience on Film & Television sets, & nearly 20 years as an Interior Designer, Annilee offers Rendering, Design Consulting, Custom Home Plans & Training for clients globally. She has utilized 3d modeling and rendering extensively and works daily on designs for clients, as well as drafting, modeling and rendering for architects and designers. Over the years, she has become proficient using various programs, and understanding their integrations.

Each course capstone will have a different type of assessment.
Here is a summary of what you can expect to see in the required eDesign U Capstone Evaluations:
DVA & eDesign 101
Define your business evaluation
Define your ideal client evaluation
Submit your Brand Kit
Complete the website basics
Set up and begin posting to at least 1 social media platform
DVA & eDesign 201
Submit the sample project using your self-hosted or other collaboration method from start to finish.
eDesign Elective 01 | eDesign Presentation Techniques
Any program is acceptable for the render.
Submit a minimum of 4 Photoshop or Concept boards styled for your ideal client. These will be used for the Opt-in & Passive Income assessment Project.
eDesign 301 | Passive Income & Affiliates
Create a passive income product, this can be a blog series, digital download, or something else that adds revenue to your website.
This course walks you through how to create all of this content efficiently but if you already have it create you can bypass taking the Capstone Evaluation.
eDesign 401 | Marketing for eDesigners
Create an Opt-in to collect emails and share it and the programs you used to create it (email services linked).
Create a Pinterest account and share your Opt-in directly to Pinterest or using Tailwind.
This course walks you through how to create an opt-int set up email funnels and automate your Pinterest marketing.
Courses do not typically go on sale because once a student enrolls you automatically save 30% on your next course for being a student.
eDesign Association members save 50% on all courses for being a member.
Estimations listed below are assuming full implementation (from scratch) and an average computer literacy and a minimum of an Associate Interior Design degree or equivalent experience in the industry.
Requirements: Complete the eDesign U Certified Modeler course by Sarah Durnez & pass the certification checkpoints for certification.
*This is not a DVA Certification, this Certificate e is to become a 3D Product modeler for the eDesign Platform.
To receive DVA Certification, a total of 5 courses need to be completed and Capstones passed. The below paths are designed to help students determine how to receive certification based off of their personal business goals.
Path 1: This path uses all available eDesign U courses, and may be ideal for students who have purchased an array of courses and want to maximize their investment.
Path 2: This path is for students who'd like a more focused curriculum for certification.
Path 3: This path is for students who purchased the 5 course bundle by Sarah Durnez.
